The  day  scope  adapter  (sometimes  called  monolock)  allows  the  D-300 monocular to be attached to a regular day scope. The monocular simply gets connected to an eyepice of the scope, creating a night vision device from your regular day scope. No removing or adjusting day scope necessary.
