The AXTON brand SMART series infrared illuminators represents a completely new concept in CCTV lighting. They are designed with the capacity to be remotely controlled by wire to adjust output power and photocell threshold, as well as externally triggered to emit a single or a sequence of light pulses.  In addition, digital I/O ports allow the illuminator to synchronize with cameras or any other external alarming devices, and to activate peripheral devices at the same time. The series also features extended DC/AC input.  Together, these features facilitate integration into existing security system and to improve and expand the performance of the entire network.  The housing is designed to be weather and waterproof (IP-66 rated).
